Best place to have iftar

I had the pleasure of having Iftar at the hotel, and it was an amazing experience. The variety of dishes was impressive there were so many choices, and everything was delicious. The atmosphere was lovely and welcoming. A special thank you to Faiza for the great recommendation. I’m so glad I went!

A week in the sunshine, far away from the chill and damp of the UK, excellent!!

I'm not sure where to start on this review, the Radisson Blu Taghazout surf village is way beyond our expectations, so let me try and let you know about our stay there. First of all the location, right next to the beach, with all the surfers and within a short stroll along a well maintained promenade to the absolutely lovey fishing village of Taghazout. The hotel/village itself; you stay in wooden "bungalows" each individually sited amongst areas planted with native shrubs and trees, notably the Argon trees which are so much of a feature in the area. Ours (304) was relatively small but with all we needed as a couple and kept beautifully clean by our lovely lady who, daily, kept us tidy and bottled water replenished in the fridge every day. We had a view of the sea from our decking, where you could while away an hour in the provided hammock or sit and watch the many bird species that frequent the gardens The food in the hotel restaurant is good, better than good actually, the breakfast offering is magnificent, with all you might require, fresh fruit, cooked meal if you want it and continental style pastries and cakes, but the very best bit of breakfast is sitting outside by the pool and being waited on by the wonderful Mustapha,Aicha and Mouad,(and many others) who made our holiday special by being so helpful, full of fun and with interesting comments . Salam Alaykum Aicha!! We were on Half board, so lunch was either in Taghazout where there are many cafes and restaurants or by the pool in the hotel, again a great choice of meals and snacks, we often had a meal shared between us ,which was more than sufficient for us. Dinner, either in the Bougainvillea restaurant or the wonderfully set out Le Lazuli (extra payment required, but so worth it for a night or two), both offered a wide menu, the Lazuli with its Italian dishes and very attentive staff in a beautifully lit environment, or the buffet in the main dining room with a change of cooked offerings from Tagine to more international fare, with a splendid selection of salads to start and a myriad of pudding options Also worth a mention is the Holiday experience manager (sorry forgot your name) but so helpful and willing to help with any requests, many thanks to you for all you interesting comments and sorting out taxis and help with where to go and what to see All in all a great week in the sun, my only very small criticism of the hotel is that in February when the nights drop chillier, there is no indoor bar or seating area to go to after dinner, I guess in the warmer nights people are more that happy to sit outside in the pool area, but at this time of year its back to your lovely little cabin to read or watch tv. A great few days made extra special by all the wonderful staff.
