Fantastic 3rd visit

We have recently visited this fabulous hotel for the 3rd time and yet again it did not disappoint. From arriving in the splendid reception area to the sprawling spacious outdoor areas you cannot fail to be impressed. There is a lovely promenade at the back of the hotel for lovely walks to the sound of the waves. The hotel is immaculately clean and the staff work exceptionally hard to look after everyone. The food is varied and something for everyone and the Moroccan al la carte is worth a visit to sample fine local food. We have noticed that each time we visit there seems to be improvements in order to make the hotel even better. The 24 hour Bakery last year was an excellent addition is proves to be very popular. They are also in the process of adding an additional roof top restaurant which will be another nice addition. Housekeeping do a fabulous job looking the rooms and Hadjesha was outstanding. The Entertainment, Maintenance, Kitchen, Porters, Reception and Bar staff do a wonderful job all round and special thanks to Ayoub in the Sports Bar for tirelessly working so hard to look after us all well. Great place and already booked to return later this year.

Great holiday

We had a really nice stay at the hotel. Everything was clean, comfortable and the atmosphere was very pleasant ,We especially enjoyed the bakery every morning. A big thank you to Lamia, who prepares the coffee with a constant smile and great energy. She is very kind, professional which makes everything easy and welcoming for guests Also thanks to Younes, who makes great coffee as well, always friendly and helpful We will definitely come back!

Room for improvement at times

1st time in Morocco, after usually booking Egypt or Turkey for some March sunshine & was slightly disappointed, ,reasonable temperature, very windy but pleasant. Resort was spotless cleaned & well maintained. Lot's of outdoor swimming pools but be mindful they were cold in March,& not well used because of the pool temperature, there is however a small warm indoor pool that didn't appear to be busy. Outdoor areas around the pools was generously laid out well maintained with plenty of sun beds and comfortable outdoor furniture, never a problem getting sunbeds even in mid afternoon although still the usuals getting up at 6am to put towels on beds on premium beds even though signs everywhere saying 'no reserved beds'. Poolside bar staff very friendly and hard working. Towels man 'Mr Happy happy very fun and efficient. Room 2245 was lovely spacious and well equipped but overlooking a mobile home/ campsite but didn't bother me as never planned on sitting on the balcony. The room service was excellent every day & couldn't fault it, Zouhar greeted us every day with a cheerful smile and worked so hard to ensure the high standards of cleanliness he obviously keeps, it was a pleasure to return to our well stocked clean room at the end of every day. We only ate in the main buffet restaurant & found the food to be above average for this class of resort and the chef's friendly and welcoming on interacting. The restaurant staff were mostly friendly and welcoming but levels of service did vary from day to day, Abderrahim & colleague Loubna deserve credit for exemplary service, always smiling and working so hard to ensure perfect customer service they should both be promoted to staff training! Now onto our biggest disappointment the main bar, even when not busy, service was poor to average at best, long ques, running out of glasses and beer, we even wondered at times how theywould cope and the level of service at peak times in the year, we were interigated over where you were sitting everytime ordering drinks, even though a distance away from 'plastic glasses poolside areas ' a level below, late in evening became tedious and unnecessary. By the end of our week we actually thought quite humorous especially when saying 'we're sat in the bar,balcony or reception lobby area and question "are you sure "???.. it's 100% not a cultural alcohol issue as never encountered this poor level of customer service before in our usual destinations Egypt or Turkey, food & beverages manager needs to get a grip on this massive disappointment let down . We observed other guests asking or enquiring about different drinks from the main bar during our stay given a short unprofessional rude at time's response. In the end we sat in the main lobby and used the Sports Bar (that actually doesn't show sports) Ayoub bar server was such a revelation, hard working and professional and appeared mostly on his own even in busy times & never stopped smiling and giving high level of 5 star professional service other bar desperately lacking, Personally I don't think it would be a bad idea to give him a post training bar and lounge staff in customer service. The Resort itself is somewhat isolated but taxi fares are cheap enough to Agidar. We booked with Tui and had a wonderful excursion to see the flying goats, Argon oil , & Crocodile park, great fun day out ,all the animals looking well cared for happy and very well fed! Its such a shame such simple basic thing's as customer service has reduced our ratings my wife gave it 7/10 I would 7.5/10 except for staff previously mentioned who should be commended.
