Holiday in Agadir

The Allegro hotel was a lovely hotel which was clean and very pleasant. I stayed in a room which was right next to the reception, as i asked to not be placed somewhere that i would have to walk too far to get to the restaurant and as i had read the reviews, this was something i was prepared for. As i said, i was listened to and provided with a room which i believe is usually for the air crew, however, i was pleased as it was clean, tidy, a little dated but nothing to make me feel uncomfortable. The staff were absolutely lovely, polite and went out of their way to make sure your table was always clear, and if you needed anything else. Great staff. The majority of those on vacation were middle aged (like myself), and white. They did not say good morning, or thank you, yes please or any other greeting to the staff (which pissed me off) as they deserved recognition for what they do. I personally was over it, on day two. These people were from France, Sweden and what ever continent where they obviously do not mix with people of colour. Apart from this, 10% of the holiday makers were polite and acknowledged your existence. The food was great, the red wine delicious, the sea was amazing, and i had to try their McDonalds which was great. The Souk was a good experience and the taxi man waited an hour whilst i got my lashes done at the Souk, great chap and only 100 Dirham, which is £10. I would definitely go back, good place to detox from lifes stress.
